How it works

Four steps, about five minutes, and no plastic.

  1. 1.Choose where you are going

Pick a country, a region or a global plan and the amount of data you expect to use. Prices are per plan, not per day, and there is nothing to cancel afterwards.

  2. 2.Pay

Card or wallet, handled by Stripe. You do not need an account — an email address is enough, and that is where the eSIM goes.

  3. 3.Scan the QR code at home

It arrives within a minute. Adding an eSIM needs an internet connection, so do this on Wi-Fi before you travel rather than at the airport on arrival.

  4. 4.Switch it on when you land

Turn on the new line and enable data roaming for it. Your own SIM stays in place, so you keep your number for calls and messages.

Install before you travel, switch on after you land

These are two different things and the order matters. Installing downloads the profile onto your phone and needs Wi-Fi. Switching the line on is what makes it connect to a local network.

On most plans the validity period starts at that first connection, not at purchase and not at installation. So you can buy a week in advance, install the same evening, and still get the full plan from the day you arrive — as long as the line stays off until then. Each plan page says which rule applies to it.

An eSIM can only be installed once

The profile is downloaded to one phone and cannot be moved, reissued or installed again — not by us, and not by the network. Deleting it from your phone, or resetting the phone mid-trip, ends the plan.

Keep the QR code, but treat it the way you would a ticket that has already been scanned: it is proof of what you bought rather than something you can use twice. Your account holds the same details if you need to check them.

What you keep, and what you do not

Our eSIM is a data line that sits alongside your usual SIM.

  • You keep your own number for calls and texts.
  • Data goes over our line, at local rates you paid up front.
  • Calls and messages through WhatsApp, FaceTime or Telegram work, because those are data.
  • There are no calls or SMS on our line itself.

Check your phone first

Most phones from 2019 onwards support eSIM, but it also has to be carrier-unlocked.
